Terms of Service
BidReady provides estimating and takeoff support. A quote or estimate is not a bid you can submit as ours, and it is not a construction contract.

01The service
BidReady prepares quantity takeoffs and estimate packages from the plans and scope you send. Deliverables may include takeoffs, labor-and-material pricing, Excel and PDF files, marked-up drawings, assumptions, inclusions and exclusions, purchasing summaries, and technical scope review. Work starts only after we confirm scope, fee, and delivery date.
02Quotes are not an engagement
Submitting the website form, uploading plans, or sending a plan-room link does not create an engagement. Website prices are starting ranges, not a promise. Scope, fee, and delivery date are confirmed after plan review. Typical turnaround is 24–72 hours depending on scope, complexity, and completeness; large and complex sets are scheduled after review.
03Estimates are not bids or contracts
Numbers we deliver are estimating support for your desk. They are not a binding bid, a guarantee of cost, or a contract to build. You remain responsible for the bid you submit, for exclusions, and for how you use the package. Site conditions, addenda, and drawing changes can move quantities and price.
04Estimate limitations
We estimate from the documents you provide. Incomplete drawings, late addenda, client changes, and revised sets can change quantities and fee. Our Limited Takeoff Correction Commitment covers verified omissions in the agreed scope at no additional charge. It does not cover bid results, price fluctuations, client changes, incomplete documents, late addenda, or job-cost overruns.
05Quotes, revisions, and payment
Rush work requires prior approval and may cost more. BidReady corrections for verified omissions in agreed scope are free. Client changes, late addenda, alternates, and revised drawings are additional. Payment terms are confirmed with the quote. Deposits and invoices may be paid through the Client Pays page (Stripe) or another method we send you.
06Your plans and our work product
You represent that you may share the drawings and notes you send us. We use them only to quote and estimate the job you requested. Keep a copy of your files — we are not a plan room or archive. BidReady’s takeoff files, markups, and estimate formats remain our work product; you receive a license to use the delivered package for the project you hired us to estimate. Do not resell our templates or treat our package as BidReady’s bid.
07Our role
We use reasonable care on the scope we confirmed. We are not the architect, engineer of record, or contractor of record. We do not take design, means-and-methods, or jobsite safety responsibility.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. BidReady is based in Thompsons Station, Tennessee, USA, and serves contractors nationwide.
